Pauline Rock

Obituary of Pauline J. Rock

It is with heartfelt sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, on Sunday, May 23, 2021, Pauline J. Rock, often referenced as a “beautiful lady”. Her final hours were spent at CVPH under the guidance of Dr. Baskin and a wonderful ICU nurse. Pauline was born in Plattsburgh, June 30, 1935, the daughter of Frank and Frances Ayers. Pauline managed a family business, loved to garden, play shuffleboard, guide us with her home projects and later in life mastered adult coloring. She was an extraordinary athlete, coached softball, loved watching NBA especially the Celtics, followed tennis and loved watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. She modeled for her children and grandchildren how to meet life challenges with a tenacious nature. She is survived by her children, Poppy, Megan, William (Laurie), Regan (Mandy) and Christopher (Kaylee); grandchildren, Nathan (Alynn), Evan, Aaron, Jerrica, Joselyn, Tristan, Terrence, Kaleb, Kadence, and Arabella; her beloved pets, Chester, Charlie and Zoey. She cherished her relationships with numerous nieces and nephews and the Rock family. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings, Joy Jubert, Betty Harrsch, and Frankie Ayer; and a nephew, Ken Voudren. Our family acknowledges everyone that supported her through visits, cards, calls and gifts. We forever remain grateful for the love from Linda Bechard, Karolina Nolan, Mandy Regan and Marcia Voudren. Thank you mom, we feel your love forever! A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with the event location, date and time to be announced. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville, 834-7667.
