Obituary of Pauline Geraldine Chagnon

Pauline Geraldine Chagnon, 86, of the Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, died Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh. She was born in Cadyville, December 15, 1933, the daughter of John and Maude (Rule) Provost. She attended high school in Cadyville. She worked in manufacturing with The Candle Factory in Syracuse being her favorite. Pauline loved fishing, bowling and gardening. In her later years, she enjoyed going to the casino, watching game shows and spending time with family. Left to treasure her memory are her three daughters, Sandra (Thomas) Tinney of Palermo, ME, Arlene King of Clinton, TN, and Debra (William) Geddes of Peru; one sister, Lucille Daniels of Plattsburgh; grandchildren, Tiffany Geddes of West Chazy, Amanda Geddes of Keeseville, Amber Geddes of Plattsburgh, Sarah King of Plattsburgh, Jeremy King of California, and Jamie McCarthy of Augusta, ME; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, Robert James Maxwell and Robert Chagnon; and sisters, Hazel Young and Beatrice Thomas. Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 from Noon to 1 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 643-9055.
