Obituary of Doris M. Sullivan
Doris M. Sullivan, 71, of the Brinton Road in Keeseville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with her daughters by her side. Doris was born in Drummondville, Quebec on August 4, 1949. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Academy and the Hudson River State Hospital School of Nursing. She was an RN and a nurse at Willsboro Central School until her retirement in 2002. Her greatest joy was gathering with friends and family. Doris is survived by her mother, Margaret (Ouellette) Dion; her children, Natalie Sullivan and husband, Curtis Snyder of Keeseville, Lianne and husband, Eric Svenson of Cazenovia; her cherished grandchildren, Liam Snyder and Robert and Patrick Svenson; her siblings, Michael Dion, Danny Dion, Steve Dion, Rocky Dion, Lynn Solomon, and Christine Dion; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Marcel Dion; her loving husband, Donald Sullivan; and her sister, Dorothy Ouellette. A gathering in Doris's honor will be planned for a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Port Douglas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville, 834-7667.
