Obituary of Teresa L. Campilango

Teresa L. Campilango, 59, of the Turner Road, Morrisonville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the UVM Health Network – CVPH, Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on October 28, 1960, the daughter of Bert E. and Beverly (Bruce) Supernaw, sister to Sheryl (Dan), Donna (Russell), and Bert J. (Anna). Teresa graduated from Peru Central School in 1979. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading novels, and collecting "Gone with the Wind" memorabilia. She was always encouraging the people around her to learn local history. Teresa also enjoyed going to the casinos with her friends. She had a flair for admiring unique things and was well loved throughout the community. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amy, Laurie (Keith) and Ashley; grandchildren, Tyler, Caitlynne, Andrew, Patrick, Ruthanne, Jasmine, Drake and Teagan; niece, Jennifer and nephew, David. She also leaves behind numerous dear friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Beverly; several aunts and uncles; as well as her beloved dog and life companion, Tucker. Her daughters continue to carry on her work ethic, kindness, strength, humor, and independence. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 1 to 3 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Private burial will follow in the Schuyler Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Teresa L. (Supernaw) Campilango may be made to the Plattsburgh Animal Hospital.
