Obituary of Patricia O. Tremblay

Patricia O. "Pat" "Patty" Tremblay, 79, of Elm Street, Champlain, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020 at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Champlain on January 10, 1941, the daughter of Ernest and Madeline (Belrose) Burl. Pat graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Champlain in June, 1958. She was a homemaker for many years and raised two children. Pat was an account clerk at Harris Graphics for fifteen years before the business relocated to Dayton, Ohio. She then worked at A.N. Deringer and the Champlain Federal Credit Union until her retirement. Pat loved crocheting, gardening, bird watching, baking, having big family holiday dinners, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson. She was an avid New York Yankee fan. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim (Jay) Boyea; son, Kevin Tremblay and his companion, Sheila Juneau, both of Champlain; her granddaughter, Amy (Boyea) Vidock of Peasleeville; two grandsons, Eric Tremblay and Korey Tremblay of Champlain; one great grandson, Jack Edward Vidock of Peasleeville; and her beloved cat, Jeter. She is also survived by two brothers, Maynard (Lupe) Burl of Kansas and Wayne (Rosie) Burl of Florida; four sisters, Lorraine Ryall and Joyce (Tom) Warren of Arizona, Judy Burl of Maine, and Barbara Lynnie (Jim) Jarvis of Champlain; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin daughters, Carol and Cheryl; and seven brothers, Gerald Burl, Donald Burl, Leslie Burl, Roger Burl, Vernon Burl,Joseph Burl, and Gordon Burl. Honoring her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Champlain. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patricia O. Tremblay may be made to: Hospice of the North Country, the American Heart Association, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would especially like to thank the following people for their special care of our mother, sister, and grandmother: Heather Newell, Dr. Brian Irwin, UVM, Burlington, Dr. Walkowitz, Missy (Burl) Gooley, Jessica King, Nicole Baker, Kelley Driscoll and Sheila Juneau.
