Dear Ducharme Family: Sad to learn of your loss of Gerard. I did not know him but it seems we were connected. We were both "Brothers' Boys." Gerard was graduated from Manhattan College in 1950, as was I in 1968. I recall Bro. Adrian Lewis, FSC, being still on campus in my time there. Prior to then, I attended St Peter's Boys HS on Staten Island, conducted by the DeLaSalleBrothers, Class of 1962. I shall donate in Gerard's memory to The Adult Day Center at Plattsburgh Rehab. My only sister attended there for ten years and it was a life-saver for her. Eventually, she became a resident due to multiple physical maladies and died in 2018. A small world indeed. Man proposes but God disposes. Blessed be His Name! Sincerely, Richard L. Daly - Cumberland Head

I worked with Gerry for 20 years before he retired. He was a wonderful person and was never to busy to listen and give advice when needed. I know he will be missed by his loving family and you all have mine and Eddie's sympathy.
