Obituary of Thomas John Collins

Thomas John Collins, 67, of the Blake Road, Plattsburgh, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Plattsburgh, May 3, 1952, the son of George E. and Anna J. (Martineau) Collins.

Tom worked at Arpak for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed collecting antiques and a cold beer with friends and family.

Left to cherish the memory of Tom are, his loving wife of 19 years (together 42), Robin Collins; children, Pauline Osher and her companion Shane Delarm, Tyler Boardman and her companion Bill Vetter, Geana Nephew and her husband Ed, and Elvis Osher and his companion Angela Cook; grandchildren, Dylan and Mary Osher, Brandon and Heather Osher, Alex Morrow, Christopher Agoney, Joseph Agoney, Edward Nephew, and Hayden Vetter; great-grandchildren, Damien, Blake, Bailey, Connor, Cole, and Wriley, siblings, Ron Collins and wife Sally, Linda LaCroix, Cathy Wells, Nora Garrow, Ricky Collins; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful beagle, Hunter.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by son, Thomas Christopher Collins; grandson, Devin Michael Agoney; and siblings, Ruby, Nancy, Truman, and Floyd (Helen) Collins; and siblings-in-law, Roger Wells and Patrick LaCroix.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Augustine's Cemetery in Peru.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to his wife Robin, to be distributed at her discretion.
