Obituary of Anne Eileen Frazier
Anne Eileen Frazier, 64, of Route 22, Peru, passed away at her home, Wednesday, October 23, 2019, under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
She was born in Plattsburgh, November 13, 1954, daughter of the late William H. and Eileen Mary (O'Brien) Tedford. Anne grew up in AuSable Forks and was a 1972 graduate of AuSable Valley Central School.
A long term employee of the Plattsburgh City School District, she was the principal's administrative assistant at Momot Elementary School. She retired in 2017 following twenty three years, where she touched the lives of many. She was well loved and respected by the students and staff. She knew the name of every student and parent and made a personal connection with each through a kind word or positive comment.
Anne had a quick wit and great sense of humor. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, movies, the simple pleasures of a ride through the Adirondacks, her cats and gathering with family and friends. She was most happy in the comfort of her home with her family. She was proud of the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Throughout many months of medical challenges, she kept her sense of humor and never complained. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are, her husband of forty-five years, Mark of Peru; two sons, Andrew Frazier and his wife Kimberly of Waterford, NY, and Scott Frazier and his companion Stephanie Boardman of Plattsburgh; four grandchildren, Nickolas and Alec Frazier and Devin Thew and Aivah Vassar; sisters, Kathleen (Joseph) Gondek of Chazy, Jane (Jack) Thomas of AuSable Forks, and Susan (Mark) Cook of Plattsburgh; two brothers, William (Linda) Tedford of Galway, NY, and Thomas (Dena) Tedford of Peru; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Bill) Bonville and Florence (Bill) Lange, all of Ocala Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Thomas "Sam" Frazier; and sister-in-law, Lorie Sepulveda.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 4 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Her cremains will be placed in Holy Name Cemetery in AuSable Forks, at a later date.
