Obituary of Bernadine T. LaRose

Bernadine T. LaRose, formerly of Keene, NY, passed away on Monday October 14, 2019, at Elderwood Of Uihlein, Lake Placid.

She was born in Keeseville on June 11, 1930, the daughter of Romeo "Jack" Bezio and Mildred (Blaise) Bezio.

Bernie was a cook for the North Country School and Adirondack Lodge in Lake Placid before she became a homemaker. She loved to have holiday dinners at her home and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters; Linda Smith and her husband, Butch, of Keene, and Brenda DeMulling and her husband, Mike, of Morrisonville; one sister, Virgin Doyle, of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Donald Smith, Dean Smith, Tonya Barry, Michele Patnode, Deanna Rasco, Ken Silver, and Lance LaRose, Paul LaRose; twelve Great Grandchildren, Connor, Kyle, Alexis, Ian, Cooper, SaVannah, Joshua, Luke, Emma, Cole, Julianna, and Lesa; as well as many nieces, nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bernie was predeceased by her husband, Clifford E. LaRose; son, Clifford L. LaRose; sisters, Bernadette Kolonski and Shirley Martin; and a brother, Edward "Bud" Bezio.

There will be no public calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 10 AM at Elderwood Of Uihlein, 185 Old Military Road, Lake Placid. Burial in St. John's Cemetery in Keeseville will be private.

A special thank you to the staff and residence at Elderwood Of Uihlein for care, kindness and friendship.

In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Caner Center.
