Obituary of Kurt J. Prevost
Kurt Prevost, 58, of Hill Street, Keeseville, died Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country.
He was born in Saranac Lake, June 13, 1961, the son of Bob Prevost and the former Joan Lyons. Kurt grew up in Saranac Lake and attended Saranac Lake High School where he played hockey and excelled as a goalie.
He worked many years at Moore's Flatwork and Foundation as a foreman. He also worked as a foreman for Ryan's Masonry.
Kurt enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, camping, PC gaming, RC cars, and many other hobbies that included building with his hands. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan.
Left to cherish the memory of Kurt are, his fiance, Terrie Anne Beisinger; three children, Jennifer Curtis and her husband, Jared, Nichole Prevost and her fiance, Jerry McMackin, and David Prevost and his companion, Sara Barry; two brothers, Brett (Phyllis) Prevost, and Bobby Prevost; Terrie's daughter, Valerie Beisinger and her companion Zach Jermano; Terrie's mother and father, Pat (Roger "Wayne") Manning; five grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella, Angelina, Dylan, Kieran, and Axel; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 6 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A prayer service will follow at 7 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering will follow at the Keeseville Elks Lodge, until 9 PM.
Donations in his memory may be made to his family to be appropriated at their discretion.
