Obituary of Bonny S. Ledwith

Bonny S. Ledwith (Sharron), 85, of Santor Lane, Keeseville, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, May 11, 2019 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH, Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Plattsburgh on March 18, 1934, the daughter of Victor and Pearl (Squires) Sharron.

Bonny was raised in Peru, NY and spent her childhood playing with her siblings, Marilyn Hoffman formerly known as Sharron and Victor (Bud) Sharron Jr. She was also involved with extracurricular activities such as cheerleading, school plays, the church choir and other assorted church activities.

Bonny graduated from Peru Central School in 1952 and married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Ledwith in 1953. She was the owner of Lamb's Wool, a cleaning service. As an avid musician Bonny spent a great deal of time singing and playing the keyboard and organ. Although she was born and raised a devout Catholic, Bonny eventually became a Pentecostal dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. While passionate about her garden and lawns, she spent a great deal of time outdoors committed to the beauty of nature.

Bonny was an inspiration to anyone that entered her life and always left a memorable impression any time she entered a room. She held an unconditional, genuine love for all, and will be remembered for her laughter, smile, and sincere guidance. True beauty resonated from her heart and soul and was evident with the constant peacefulness that surrounded her.

Survivors include her two sons, Theodore and Timothy Ledwith; sister, Marilyn Hoffman; and a brother, Victor (Bud) Sharron Jr. Bonny also leaves 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a few great-great grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life.
