Obituary of Mary Bosley

Mary M. Bosley, 72, of the Gero Road, Mooers Forks, died surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the home of her daughter, Valerie LaPoint, State Route 374 in Ellenburg Depot. Hospice of the North Country also assisted with Mary's care.

She was born in Mooers Forks, July 20, 1946, the daughter of Amos and Beatrice (Favreau) Bosley. Mary grew up in Mooers Forks and graduated from Altona Central School.

Mary was a retired release clerk at Norman Jenson Custom Broker in Champlain. She loved crocheting in her free time and was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann's since 1970. She enjoyed her beloved cat, Milo, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish the memory of Mary are, her loving companion of 28 years, James Coulombe; her only child, daughter, Valerie (Kurt) LaPoint; grandchildren, Cole (Lisa) LaPoint, Tiffanie LaPoint, and Brittanie LaPoint; eight great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jamie, Landon, Mason, Tara, Brooklyn, Jackson, and Lincoln; siblings, Edna Sherman, David (Eileen) Bosley, Loretta (Ronnie) Kirby, Lawrence (Sheri) Bosley, Edward (Theresa) Bosley, Thomas (Joan) Bosley, and Bernard (Theresa) Bosley; brother-in-law, Romain Perras; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Perras; and brother-in-law, Gerald Sherman.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Ann's Church in Mooers Forks with Rev. Adrian Gallagher, parish priest, celebrating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or Hospice of the North Country.
