Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Robare-Dzik

Mary Elizabeth Robare-Dzik, 84, of Morrow Lane, Keeseville, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at The University Of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Plattsburgh, January 9, 1934, the daughter of Roy and Nora (Perry) Russell. Mary grew up in Peru and attended Peru Central School.

She married Richard Robare in Keeseville. Richard predeceased her. She later married Walter Dzik in Keeseville.

Mary was a local apple packer for years and more recently worked for ARPAC in Plattsburgh for several years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, dancing, feeding her birds, gardening, cooking, and baking. Mary was always willing to care for anyone in need.

Left to cherish the memory of Mary are, her husband, Walter Dzik; one daughter, Brenda Besaw; step-daughter, Lynda Burrall; ten grandchildren, Candi Besaw and her children, Austin and Brandon, Chris Besaw, Jessica Besaw, Nichole Pulsifer and her son, Ryder; Aubrey (James) Douglas and their three children, Aiden, Elijah, and Jaxon, Deanna Robare and her three children, Lexie, Michael, and Mariah, Jeremy (Lisa) Robare and their children, Kayleigh, Jelisa, Justin, and Rennan, Jodi Robare and her son, Briar, Kevin Burrall, and Matthew Burrall; three siblings, Robert, James, and Linda Russell; and several nieces and nephews.

At Mary's request there will be no public calling hours. A private graveside service will be held in St. John's Cemetery in Keeseville.

Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
