Johnathan Clark McGoldrick Champlain - Johnathan Clark McGoldrick, 16, of the Clark Road, Champlain, was laid to rest in God's arms following an automobile accident, Monday, January 19, 2009. He was born in Plattsburgh, July 8, 1992, the son of Brian and Kimberly (Clark) McGoldrick. He was currently a Junior at Northeastern Clinton Central in Champlain and was attending CV-TEC, studying Heavy Equipment. John was an all around outdoorsman who loved hunting with his Dad, Papa, and his Uncle. He also loved fishing with his friends and family. John was an avid bowler and golfer, on the school teams. In addition to his family, John's biggest love was his friends who he dearly loved. John's life was his friends. Johnathan is survived by his parents Brian and Kimberly McGoldrick (Champlain) who loved him so much; a loving sister Aleigha and two litttle brothers Joshuah & Jaycob, who were both his buddies. They will all miss him dearly. Johnathan is also survived by his maternal Nana and Papa, Roy and Mary Clark (Champlain) who he loved so much. John has two uncles, Roy J. Clark (Plattsburgh) and Pat McGoldrick (Plattsburgh). He also leaves three cousins who will miss him so much, Zackary, Kiki, and Aaryn Clark (Plattsburgh); and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Marjorie McGoldrick. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Rd, Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11am at St. Mary's Church in Champlain with Rev. James A. Delbel, parish pastor, celebrating. Burial will be in the spring in the Glenwood Cemetery in Champlain. Donations in his memory may be made to a bowling scholarship, to be established, because this was a great love of his.
