Pat Agnes Parks, 74, formerly of Peru, died Monday, October 3, 2022 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Queens, New York, April 21, 1948, the daughter of George E., Sr. and Mildred E. (Rossler) Parks. Pat graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, NY. Pat loved poetry, a good joke, and bringing a smile or laugh to those around her. She enjoyed bingo and being social with just about anyone she came in contact with. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Left to cherish the memory of Pat are, her sister, Dorothy Parks of Peru; nieces and nephews; Penny Defayette, Lori Hall, Glenn McGee, Meghan McGee-Pelkey; Ronnie Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Denise Owens, Pete Johnson and Pat Barrett; Jimmy Atkinson and Karen Atkinson; Vickie Parks, George Parks III, Patrica Dilluvio and Richard Parks; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and other family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, George E Parks Jr., Elizabeth "Betty" Johnson and her husband, Ronald Johnson, and Mildred "Millie" Atkinson; niece, (Millie's daughter), Donna Atkinson-Silver; and her beloved dog, Buttons. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 5 to 6 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Donations in Pat's name may be made to the Peru Volunteer Fire Department or Elmore SPCA.
