Mrs. Evelyn Gail (Phillips) Landolfi of Washington Place, Cliff Haven, passed away November 13, 2021 in Plattsburgh, NY of natural causes. Evelyn was born at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, N.J., October 1st, 1942 to Andrew and Theresa (Wioland) Phillips of Morrison Ave, Union N.J. She married Robert J. Landolfi in Saint Michaels Church, Union N.J., May 9th, 1964. Following high school, she worked as a bookkeeper for several companies. She last worked for the Senior Citizens Council of Clinton County. Her entire life revolved around her family. She was fiercely competitive and always forthright with all who knew her. She was a fan of Judge Judy and QVC ("her educational TV"). She loved her children and grandchildren, Easter bunny colors, Bon Worth clothes and Swarovski crystal. She also enjoyed sudoku puzzles, crocheting crafts and anything sparkly. She leaves her husband of 57 years; a son, Capt. Robert J. Landolfi Jr. USCG Ret., his spouse Melissa and grandchildren Robert J. Landolfi III (Trey) and Alexa Nicole Landolfi; and a daughter, Kimberly Bailey, her husband Bobby and grandson Nathan Cary. Her infant child Alana, her brothers Joe Phillips and Andrew Phillips and sister Lorraine (Phillips) Rosol, predeceased her. Her sister-in-law, Nancy, and her brother Alan Phillips and spouse Elaine mourn her loss. Also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, November 19, 2021, from 10 to 11 am at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 11 in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Saratoga National Cemetery.
