Arlene A. Bouvia, 84, of the Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the UVM Health-Network, CVPH, Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on February 7, 1937 the daughter of Edward and Clara (Blake) Hendrie. Arlene was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, playing cards and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and having family gatherings and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Arthur Bouvia; three daughters, Cindy (Robert) McCorry, Susan (Dan) Provost, and Fay Bouvia and Kimberly Yelle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Bouvia; two sons, William and David Bouvia; grandson, Preston Bouvia; two brothers, Carlaton and Leon Hendrie; three sisters, Edna LeClair, Marylnn Meseck, and Phyliss Roark; and a son-in-law, Arthur Osher. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Donations in memory of Arlene A.
