Karen DeCoste, 53, of Champlain and more recently of Charlotte, North Carolina, died on Thursday, September 3, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born April 25, 1967 the daughter of Leland and Eva (Chevalier) Jubert. Karen graduated from NCCS and then Plattsburgh State with a marketing degree. After working in her field at several local companies she found her true passion when she moved to Charlotte and started her own business as a much loved dog walker. Karen enjoyed time with her family, traveling, and watching her Carolina panthers with her football buddies Kelly Hébert and Kim Desrosiers. She was predeceased by her mother Eva Jubert. She is survived by her father, Leland Jubert of Plattsburg; sister, Susan and husband Randall Nephew of Moores; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank Karen's special friends in Charlotte, Rhonda Dupra, Julie White, Joy Clink, Tonya Rumsfeld, Gary and Maria Crockett, Tonijha Taylor and Kayla Rice who helped us get through this. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from Noon to 2 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Rd., Mooers.
