Vincent John Fleischmann, 66, of Peru, NY, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2020 at his home. He was born in Paterson, NJ on December 14, 1953, to Wilfred and Mary (Riccio) Fleischmann. Vinnie grew up briefly in Paterson before moving to Totowa, NJ. He always loved the outdoors from a young age, riding his dirt bikes and motorcycles with his friends. Growing up his hobby was rebuilding Volkswagens, which he learned from his father. Vinnie was a very hard worker and accomplished anything he put his mind to. He graduated from Passaic Valley High School in 1972. Vinnie married in 1984 to Patti Orland. He enjoyed spending his summers and hunting seasons at his cabin in the Adirondacks with now ex-wife, Patti, and their two children, Zach and Carly. Vinnie was an Electrician for IBEW Local Union 102. He lived in the Towaco section of Montville for 15 years, later moving to Lincoln Park. Vinnie's dream was to retire in the North Country, Adirondack Mountain region which he accomplished in 2016. Vinnie was a true mountain man, a hunter, and known for his strength. He was known as a man who could do the work of two men. He knew how to fix anything and would always attempt fixing everything. Vinnie is survived by his ex-wife, Patti, his son, Zach, and his daughter, Carly; brother, Bob and his wife, Jacquie, as well as his niece, Lisa and his nephew, Robbie.
