David John Waldron, Jr., 67, of the Hallock Hill Road, Peru, died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, as a result of complications with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease. He was born in Troy, September 19, 1952, the son of David John, Sr. and Gertraud (Schlawski) Waldron. He grew up in Mechanicville and Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1971. He later received an Associate Degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He married the former Bonnie Sue Nobles, August 2, 1975, in Mechanicville, NY. David was an HVAC Engineer working for Grand Union Company, J. Hogan Refrigeration, and Plattsburgh State University. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and horse racing. He loved the NY Giants and NY Yankees. He loved music and good food! Left to cherish the memory of David are, his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Waldron; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and James Lutz; son, Michael David Waldron; his beloved granddaughters, Charlotte Waldron and Moira Lutz; siblings, Glenn Waldron, Linda and Gary Muzio, Deborah and Gary Plascencia, Karen and Dan O'Keefe, Paul and Colleen Waldron, Dennis and Lisa Waldron, Kimberly and Paul Rivenburg, and Christa Waldron, Kevin Waldron; and brother-in-law, Adam "Zeke" Spickler. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins, many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; and Bonnie's siblings and their spouses. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Carmen (Waldron) Spickler. There will be no public calling hours or services.
