Penny Sue Lacy, 59, of the Robare Road, Keeseville, died Friday, May 3, 2019 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Ticonderoga, November 26, 1959, the daughter of the late Frederick William and Ruth Lena (Hart) Fish. She grew up in Mineville and graduated from Moriah Central School in 1977.
Penny worked at Monahan Medical Corporation in Plattsburgh for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed gardening, animals of all kinds, and especially time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish the memory of Penny are, her loving husband, John Lacy, whom she married June 3, 2000 at "the field"; her daughter, Michelle Barnett; two grandchildren, Trent and Emily; one sister, Carol Keech; mother-in-law, Constance Lacy; two "adopted" children, Josh Nolan and Markie Aniskewicz; and several in-laws, out-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Curtis M. Gregory, Sr.; her son, Curtis M. Gregory, Jr.; two sisters, June Mallory and her husband, Louis, and Debbie Fish; brother-in-law, Robert Keech, and father-in-law, Peter Lacy.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. Burial will be held at a later date in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Keeseville.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or the Elmore SPCA.
