Brian David Bashaw, 47, of Route 9, Peru, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Plattsburgh, August 14, 1971, the son of David A. Bashaw and Teresa A. (Pasho) Bashaw. He grew up in Peru and graduated from AuSable Valley Central School, class of 1989. He later earned his Associates Degree in Accounting at Clinton Community College, class of 1993.
His greatest love was his fishing. He fished the Father's Day Fishing Derby many years and won a Sylvan 16' boat, motor and trailer. He fished the All Season Fishing Tournament, Happy Pike Fishing Derby's and many more.
Brian worked at many places; he started at Lake Champlain Transportation at Port Kent and Cumberland Head, Olive Ridley's, Naked Turtle, Protec and Bombardier.
Left to cherish the memory of Brian are; his daughter, Brittany Lynn Bashaw of Keeseville; his mother, Teresa Bashaw of Peru; his dad and step-mother, David and Barbara Bashaw of Port Kent; brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Tresa Bashaw of Keeseville; and many fishing friends.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
