Patrick W. Edward LaCroix, 78, of the Blake Road, Plattsburgh, died Christmas Day, at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country.
He was born in Rouses Point, March 18, 1940, the son of Leopold and Virginia (Roberts) LaCroix. Pat served in the United States Army from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1965. He worked on the Plattsburgh Air Force Base for many years.
Pat was a member of the Peru VFW Post 309 and the American Legion Post 20 in Plattsburgh. Pat enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish the memory of Pat are, his loving wife, Linda L. (Collins) LaCroix; children, David (Sara), Patrick (Lori), and Deannie (Jamie); 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe (Mary); sister, Rosie; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Bella.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, David LaCroix; sister, Mildred; and brother-in-law, Russ.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, December 31, 2018 from 3 to 4 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A funeral service with military honors will follow in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel at 4 PM with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the Schuyler Falls Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to his wife, to be allocated at her discretion.
