Charlotte Annie Ano-Cowles, 65, of Keeseville Country Gardens, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Westport surrounded by her loving family and under the care of High Peaks Hospice.
She was born in Plattsburgh, December 17, 1952, the daughter of Francis H. Ano and Charlotte L. Smith.
Charlotte's true joy and passion was family. She looked forward to every opportunity she was able to spend with them.
She also enjoyed her bingo outings and going fishing; she just loved being outdoors. She had a beautiful voice and was happiest when she was singing karaoke with her family and friends.
Left to cherish Charlotte's memory are; her children, Lois Cowles Borden and husband, Brian Borden, Sr. of Westport, Ron Cowles, Jr. and wife, Kim Bradway-Cowles, Marnie Cowles, Jenna Cowles and husband Steve McCauliffe, and David Cowles all of Syracuse; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 4 step grandchildren; 4 great step grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Martin and husband Dan of AuSable Forks, Lorey Andrews of Keeseville, and Carla Warner of Bath, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Marvin Smith and Guy Warner; and a sister, Patricia Blaise.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 5 to 7PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A funeral service will follow in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating.
Donations in Charlotte's memory may be made to High Peaks Hospice and/or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
