Jerry, as he was best known, has attended the Mountain Lake Services Day Program since it opened. He has lived at the home of his caregivers, Irving and Alice Winternitz since 1993.
Jerry would like to let you know that his work here has been completed. He received a special call, sort of an offer he could not refuse, a calling from which he will not be returning. His new assignment comes with many bonuses including a reunion with friends and family he has not seen in a longtime. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place. To learn more about this wonderful place please read "Heaven is for Real" as told by Clayton Burpie. Jerry will be socializing, dancing, swimming, eating, and swinging to his heart's content. Music, speech, laughter, and delicious food are guaranteed.
His life can best be described as a quiet example of goodness and love. We want to let him know that he has done a great job and wish him a safe journey.
Left to cherish his memory are; his sister, Darylene Tessier of Winthrop, NY; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
