Coralie Mae Dupra
Peru - Mrs. Coralie Mae (Eldridge) Dupra, 83, widow of the late Robert Herbert Dupra of Peru, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.

Born in Black River, NY, December 6, 1928, Mrs. Dupra, "Corky" to her family and friends, was the fifth of six children from the union of Stanley and Genevieve (Crowner) Eldridge of Pulaski. After her marriage to Robert Dupra in 1952, Mrs. Dupra moved to Peru, and lived on the Dupra Family farm until her husband's death in 1986. The farm was located on the Arthur Road.

She was a member of the Keeseville Riding and Driving Club. Corky was an avid cook and enjoyed time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark R. Dupra and Maureen Sullivan of Oneonta; her only surviving sibling, Mrs. Blanche Williams of Pulaski; sister-in-law, Marjorie Holdridge of Wilmington, DE; brother-in-law, Harold Dupra of Plattsburgh; sister-in-law, Mary Eldridge of Liverpool; sister-in-law, Katie Eldridge of MI and FL; and 17 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her parents; and four siblings, Marion Fell, Harlan Eldridge, Clifton Eldridge, and Louine Killiam.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Peru with Rev. Alan D. Shnob, parish pastor, celebrating. Burial will be in the spring in the Harkness Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Residence Activity Fund at Meadowbrook Healthcare, 154 Prospect Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, 12901.
