|  Charles L. Wright Keeseville - Charles L. Wright, 80, of Beach Street, Keeseville, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, May 18, 1931, the son of Hugh and Grace (Conger) Wright. Charlie retired from the United States Air Force July 1, 1969 at Lowry AFB in Colorado. He was a TSGT upon retirement and proudly served his country for 20 years. An active community member, Charlie was a longtime member of the Keeseville United Methodist Church, and a former member of both the Keeseville Village Zoning Board and the local Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Mary T. (Long) Wright, whom he married September 5, 1954 in the Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Brooklyn, NY; and two daughters, Beverly Wright of Keeseville, and Terri Wright of Fort Covington. He was predeceased by his parents. Calling hours will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 from Noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Keeseville United Methodist Church with Rev. Edie A. Poland, pastor, officiating. Full military honors will follow the service. A gathering will follow at the Keeseville United Methodist Church Hall. Burial will be in the spring in the Port Douglas Cemetery. Donations in the memory of Charles Wright may be made to the Keeseville Rescue Squad, 8 Pleasant Street, Keeseville, NY, 12944.
