Gloria J. LaFountain
Keeseville - Gloria J. LaFountain, 67, of Basket Avenue, Keeseville, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Plattsburgh, August 24, 1944 the oldest of twelve children to Leonard and Dorothy (Ouimette) Hart.

Gloria was an avid Elvis fan. She enjoyed bingo and gambling. Gloria was a cook at several local restaurants, most recently Pleasant Corners and the River Bend Restaurant in Keeseville.

Survivors include her children, Lori and Louis Jarvis, Hank and Sue Hutchins, and Brian and Mallisa LaFountain; grandchildren, Tina and David Perez, Kevin Camire and Stephanie, Craig and Sierra Hutchins, Jhami and Tom Santillo, Eric Hutchins, Darren LaFountain, Shyenne LaFountain, and Alax LaFountain; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Douglas, Genevieve Perez, Danica Santillo, Lilly Santillo, Abigale Hutchins, Hunter Hutchins, Zoe Hutchins, and Khloe Hutchins; brothers and sisters, Larry and Sharon Hart, Linda and Bucky Sousis, Richard and Christine Hart, Sandra and Carl Hart, David and Jean Hart, Danny Hart, Diane Hart, Robert Hart, Randy Hart, and Jerry Hart; several nieces and nephews; and a handful of very close friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Kenneth LaFountain; and an infant sister, Barbara.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A celebration of her life will follow at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in the Spring.

In luie of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
