| ![]() Margaret Marie Earl Keeseville - Margaret Marie Earl, 101, of Jackson Street, Keeseville died Friday, July 30, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family present. She was born in Keeseville, October 25, 1908 the daughter of Charles and Rose (Sharrow) Lesperance. She worked at AuSable Valley School, AuSable Chasm, and the Port Kent Boat House Restaurant, all three for many years. Margaret was a member of the Senior Citizens Council, the Democratic Party, and the Altar Rosary Society for more than eighty-seven years, joining when she was 13 years old. She enjoyed reading biographies, particularly the Royal Family, and cooking, but her true love was her family especially her granddaughter. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary E. and James A. King of Keeseville; granddaughter, Anne M. King of Plattsburgh; and multiple nieces and nephews of the Earl/Lesperance Families. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Walter Earl; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa and Hubert Mussen, and Edna and James Hutchinson; brother, Hobart Lesperance; and half brother, Amos. Calling hours will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 from 3 to 7pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11am at St. John's Church in Keeseville with Monsignor Joseph G. Aubin, retired, celebrating. Rev. William G. Reamer, CVPH Chaplain, will concelebrate. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Catholic Community of Keeseville Altar Rosary Society or the Keeseville Volunteer Fire Department.
