The Chester family resides on Maple Street in Mooers. Sebastian was born in Albany, Monday, March 15, 2010. Sebastian was born with a congenital heart defect. Though his brief time on earth was spent in the hospital he still entered the hearts of many and was shown great love and affection by all that met him. In addition to his parents survivors include his siblings, Hayden and Phoebe Chester; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Christine Pelkey of Depew, and Jo-ann C. Hill of Keeseville; paternal grandparents, Barbara and David Chester of West Seneca; great-grandmother, Dorothy (LaFave) Pelkey of Altona; aunts and uncles, Melissa Pelkey of New York City, Jan and Don Duprey of West Chazy, Ashley Pelkey of Depew, David Pelkey of Depew, and Dawn Chester of West Seneca; and cousins, Randy and Michelle Poissant of Mooers, Dana and Joseph Martineau of West Chazy, and Derek and Stephen Chester of West Seneca. Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 1, 2010, from 2 to 4pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, August 2, 2010 at 1pm at St. Joseph's Church in Mooers with Rev. Gerald A. Cerank, parish pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
