Oleida M. Elliott
Clintonville - Oleida M. Elliott, 79, of Route 9N, Clintonville, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her home with her loving family by her side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country.

She was born in Plattsburgh, July 17, 1930 the daughter of Michael and Nora (Rabideau) Martin.

Oleida and her husband owned and operated Elliott's Store in Clintonville for many years. More recently she worked at Pray's in Keeseville. She enjoyed cooking and bingo, but her true love was spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Rhonda and husband Tracy Gero of Fern Lake, Dale Elliott of Clintonville, Tracy Collier of Plattsburgh, and Dean Elliott and his wife Kimberly of Clintonville; five grandchildren, Sarah, Kyle, Rachel, Cassandra, and Gordon; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Isabelle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gordon Elliott; and several siblings. 

At Oleida’s request there will be no public calling hours or service.  Burial will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11am at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery, Sand Hill Road, Clintonville.  A gathering will follow at Oleida’s home.
