Emmett "Pat" Ryan
Keeseville - Emmett "Pat" Ryan, 85, formerly of Keeseville Country Gardens, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare facility in Plattsburgh.

He was born in AuSable Forks, June 27, 1924, the son of Thomas and Jennie B. (Joy) Ryan. Pat was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Keeseville. He was a veteran and served in the Aleutian Islands during World War II.

Survivors include his son, Norman Ryan and his wife Shari; two grandchildren, Karin and Cory Ryan; one sister, Esther Trumbel (Bob) of Upper Jay; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, six sisters and five brothers.

There will be no public calling hours or services. Burial and full military honors will be in the spring in St. John's Cemetery in Keeseville.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 24 Clinton Street, Keeseville.

Norm, Shari, Karin and Cory, I have enjoyed the past year with Pat so much while on the 4th floor at MBHC. I love how he called me his "Keeseville girl." We had so many wonderful conversations about days gone by and about Aunt Dot and the gang. I loved making sure his cocoa and yogurt were just so. He loved when I kissed him on the forehead, and would say every time " hey get back here and give me another." He always asked when I would be back and could I come sit and visit with him. I will miss him greatly. My prayers are with you. Love and God's comfort.

To all of Pats Family, I have known Pat for many years..I worked at KCG in the last years.. I took Pat to his Drs. Appointments.. He was such a joker never knew what he was going to sat next..R.I/P. "Pat".
