Glenworth M. "Glen" Fuller
Peru - Glenworth M. "Glen" Fuller, 87, of the Lapham Mills Road, Peru, died Friday January 29, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Fort Miller, December 13, 1922, the son of Glen and Ruth (Hulbert) Fuller. He grew up traveling between the Fuller Road in Peru and Albany where his grandmother owned and operated a diner. Following high school graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and served until his honorable discharge, March 16, 1946.

Glen was in sales with Dorn's Transportation in Morrisonville and later for Oneida Motor Freight. He was a lifetime member of the Peru VFW Post 309 and the West Plattsburgh American Legion Post 1619. He was also a member of the Plattsburgh Elks Lodge #621 and various local snowmobile clubs throughout the years.

"King Cat" as he was fondly referred, enjoyed spending time at his camp in Loon Lake with his family and friends, and snowmobiling.

Survivors include his two sons, Robert "Bob" Fuller and his companion, Dianne Baldwin, and her family, and Ronny Fuller and his companion Carol VanHise, all of Peru; two granddaughters and their husbands, Jessica and Tracey Preston of Morrisonville, and Juhnna and Randy Barber of Boulder, Colorado; one great-granddaughter, Crystal Preston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and one sister, Dottie Perry (Saratoga Springs).

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 7 to 9pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Private burial and full military honors will be in the spring in God's Acre Cemetery in Peru.

Donations in his memory may be made to the nursing staff on R5 at the CVPH Medical Center and/or Hospice of the North Country.

Glen was one fantastic cousin!! My favorite memory is.. I was the first new born baby he ever saw and he always called me baby. I will miss him and will always love him. You guys had a great Dad!

Bobby and Ronnie, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was loved by all who knew him. He was a very kind man. I always told him I wish he were younger or I was older. Gwen told me to take him anyway...lol. I will miss him. I will pray for him and you.
