Pop, I love you and miss you so much. Angela and Collin enjoyed the time that they spent with you putting puzzles together, playing games or watching some crazy cartoon or movie that I am sure you would have rather watched something else. The long drive to Latham for them was always made a little easier knowing that they could swim in the pool. Collin says that now that you are in heaven when he is swimming he will pretend that you are swimming with him. Angela and Collin were so lucky to have been able to spend so much time with you over the years. I remember you, Gram and Mom coming to Lake George a few year ago and spending a night with us in our camper and sitting by the campfire. Memories like that will last forever. I have so many memories that I can't even begin to write them all down. But I do remember watching cartoons or some holiday special with you lying on the floor right next to me. I also remember watching Lawrence Welk on Sunday evenings after we had peanut butter sandwiches and soup for dinner. You have been more than just a granpa to me, you have also been the most important male role model to me for all of my life. I love you so much and will remember all the times good and not so good forever. Gram has been so lucky to have had such a great husband, 63 years WOW that is a long time. I only hope that Steve and I will be able to spend as much time together as you and Pop. Even though times were not always the best neither or you ever showed it to any of us. You have been such good role models for all of us. Love to you both. Lisa
